When replacing a metal roof, the ACR Roofing Melbourne roofing estimators address several factors; one of which, the minimum roof pitch of the existing metal roof. If the roof has been installed on a structure pitched lower than the manufacturers specifications, this can cause many problems!

What is the minimum roof pitch?

The minimum roof pitch in Australia is dependent on the roofing profile installed.

For water to flow on a flat deck roof, the minimum roof pitch is 1°. A deck roof sheet consists of three wide spans and high ribs. If the roof pitch is too low, water on the roof will not be able to flow down the roof surface and into the gutters. Therefore, forming water ponding on the roof, which then leads to roof leaks and deterioration.

The roof pitch required for a corrugated roof, is a minimum roof pitch of 5°. With low ribs and small spacing, a higher pitch is required to ensure the water does not pond in the one area. As a result this may cause the water to leak through the lapping roof sheets and into the building below.

The roof pitch to install a monoclad roof is in between a deck and corrugated roof; at a minimum roof pitch of 2°. Not to be confused with a deck roof, monoclad roof sheets have 5 ribs, with slightly smaller spacing in between. Therefore, requiring a higher roof pitch to ensure water on the roof will flow down the sheets, and not overflow over the ribs.

Making the roof compliant

ACR Roofing Melbourne take the right steps to correct a non-compliant roof fall. After installing all necessary safety equipment, the existing metal roof is removed. Next, metal or timber battens are installed to regrade the entire area, therefore ensuring the roof structure is at a the minimum requirement.
Safety mesh and insulation blanket are installed, before installing the new Colorbond or Zincalume roofing profile.
In addition, all gutters, downpipes and flashings are also installed.

Above all, it is always best to check the manufacturers specifications and speak to a roofing professional.
The ACR Roofing team provide free quotes and are available to chat with on 03 9555 0955

Aussies love Colorbond and it’s easy to see why. It’s a homegrown product, designed to stand up under the harsh Australian environment and look good at the same time. The beautiful thing about Colorbond is that not only is it designed to survive the Australian environment, its colours are also inspired by the environment.

We are blessed with some of the most vivid and colourful landscapes in the world. From the ochre of the desert to the blue of the sea and the green of our lush rainforests, we are literally surrounded by colour. Colorbond steel noticed these colours and decided to create a range of Colorbond colours that reflected the beauty surrounding us.

That’s why you can look at each of the Colorbond colours and feel the inspiration behind them. You can literally use Colorbond colour scheme to make your own landscape.

For example, Terrain is inspired by the most Aussie of landscapes – the outback. Inspired by endless red dirt and spinifex this colour exudes all the warmth and depth of the outback. The endless ocean that surrounds us inspires Deep Ocean and it also conjures up a sense of a misty, far-away mountain range such as the Blue Mountains.

Jasper is a testament to our eucalypt forests and you can really smell the gum and the feel the mist when you look at it. Pale Eucalypt goes one step further and mimics the colour of the eucalypt leaf, creating an entirely natural feeling from a manmade substance.

What About the City?

In addition to these colours inspired by nature, Colorbond has also paid testament to our urban side. The six new Colorbond colours reflect the movement and pace of our bustling city centers. Galactic is crisp, white and extremely adaptable. Aries blends the natural and the urban creating a copper colour, reflecting the way the bush and the city merge seamlessly at the edges. Celestian is the darkest of the colours and reflects the strength and solidity of our urban communities.

Choosing the Right Colorbond Colours

With all of those choices you may be feeling a little bewildered as to what will work with your home. When choosing your colour for your Colorbond roofing or colour scheme you need to take a few factors into consideration.

Firstly, you need to look at your environment. Colorbond would never be the success it is if it didn’t take cues from it’s environment and you need to do the same. If you live in the bush choose complimenting colours and if you live in the city do the same. You want your house to make a statement without being a jarring presence.

Secondly, you need to think about the style of your home. Colorbond has a color to suit your home; you just need to decide on your mission. If you want something contemporary go for mixes of bold and plain colours to create contrasts. If you want something traditional stick with the more traditional colours, such as Classic Cream and Cottage Green.

When building or renovating a home you can’t go past Colorbond. It is a truly remarkable product and a rare example of function meshing perfectly with aesthetics. The Colorbond colours also remind us to take cues from our environment and create the harmonies and contrasts that make our natural landscape so beautiful.

If you need any more assistance, contact the team at ACR Roofing. They’re the experts on all things Colorbond and they know how to get the best out of it so you can get the best out of your property and your Melbourne roofing.

The post What You Need to Know About Asbestos on Your Roof appeared first on ACR Roofing.

Before 1976, nearly 98% of homes in Victoria were built with materials containing asbestos. In addition, 20% of residential roofs contained asbestos. Asbestos was commonly used for roofs in particular due to its fire-resistant and durable nature. Although asbestos isn’t used in building materials today, asbestos roofs and products weren’t banned until 2003.

Since asbestos roofing can last for over three decades, many houses that were originally built with asbestos roofing have the same roofs today. If your home was renovated or built before 1990, you may have some harmful asbestos products in your home.

While asbestos isn’t dangerous unless airborne, homeowners should never try to touch or attempt an asbestos replacement on their own. Only asbestos specialists should handle asbestos-containing materials because they can cause major health risks if not treated properly.

Because your roof plays such an important role in sheltering your home, and because it encompasses such a large area, any harmful materials released in the area will have a wide impact.

If you think you may have asbestos roofing, here are some things you need to know about asbestos roofing.

How Do Experts Identify Asbestos?

Many homeowners won’t recognise asbestos when they see it. If you think the materials that make up your roof could potentially contain asbestos, such as building materials from the 1980s or earlier, never attempt to touch or remove them. If you know the manufacturer, you can contact them to learn what materials make up your roof, but the only way to know for sure that a material contains asbestos is to call an asbestos specialist.

The asbestos specialist will likely send a sample of the potential asbestos-containing materials to the National Association of Testing Authorities. This analytical laboratory will determine if the material contains asbestos. Common roofing materials that might contain asbestos include concrete, asphalt and gypsum.

If the material does contain asbestos, the asbestos specialist will assess whether the material should be removed or replaced. Until you’re certain that your home doesn’t contain asbestos, don’t perform any renovations, demolitions or maintenance.

What Should I Do If I Suspect Asbestos?

How you should deal with asbestos depends on where you find the asbestos and what condition the asbestos is in. Most households aren’t affected by asbestos unless it becomes airborne. If the material is friable, the asbestos could quickly become airborne and cause health risks. Non-friable asbestos won’t pose a health risk unless the material is cut, sanded or sawed.

If your roof is in a solid state, you may not need to remove it at all. Non-damaged asbestos material doesn’t pose a health hazard. However, you’ll have to monitor the materials for signs of deterioration or damage. If a material containing asbestos is damaged, call a removal specialist immediately.

Sometimes, you may not even need to remove damaged asbestos materials—you can often isolate or repair them. For instance, an asbestos specialist can likely repair a small tear in the flashing or underlayment. However, repairing or isolating asbestos are only temporary solutions. Natural weathering and aging will eventually cause damage to asbestos.

If the asbestos specialist determines that the roof poses too great a threat to those living in your home, they will likely recommend removing it. Once the asbestos specialist removes the asbestos from your property, he or she should take an air sample to ensure your home doesn’t contain airborne asbestos. You can then replace the roof with a modern version that doesn’t contain carcinogens.

If you’re worried about potential airborne asbestos in your roofing material, call an asbestos removal specialist. For more information regarding asbestos, check out our blog on health risks associated with asbestos or contact us today about asbestos replacement.

We’ve said it time and time again, but here at ACR Roofing we truly believe there is nothing more important than a good roof. The decision to undertake a Melbourne roof replacement or repair is a big one. It’s not a cheap thing to do so you want to make sure you’re only dealing with the best.

At ACR Roofing we’ve hand-picked the best roofing contractors in Melbourne and from all over the country to work under our brand, so we know exactly what types of questions you need to ask in order to get the best roof possible.

Are you licensed and insured?

You need to ensure that anyone undertaking a roof replacement at your property is licensed to perform the work and has all the appropriate insurances (such as public liability) to finish the job safely and properly. If they aren’t willing to prove they are licensed and insured, then turn them away.

What sort of communication can you offer me?

A good roof specialist will be happy to hand over a business card or a phone number that you can call whenever you need to. Ideally, they should also supply th name and phone number of the project or company supervisor as well.

Will you completely remove my old roof or just put the roof replacement on top?

The easy option for any contractor is just to fix the new roof to the old one. Obviously, this isn’t how a quality operator will undertake a project. A quality operator will insist on completely removing the old roof to check if there is any structural damage to the frame of the roof before carrying out the roof replacement in Melbourne.

Are you prepared to give me a detailed quote and honour it?

This goes without saying, but you should never trust anyone that is only prepared to give vague details as to how much the final cost will be. A good roofing contractor will have a depth of experience and be able to come up with a very accurate estimate and quote as to how much everything will cost.

What are your contingency plans?

It’s easy for a Melbourne roofing company to finish a job in perfect conditions. But what if a freak rainstorm blows through? Or halfway through the job the contractor realises that there is something structurally wrong with your house? You need to be sure that your roof specialist has the know how to deal with whatever challenge is thrown at them and be able to work in a way that will limit damage to your home.

Do you have employees or do you subcontract?

A roof replacement company that using subcontractors isn’t necessarily a bad thing, you just have to keep in mind that you need to ask subcontractors the same questions as you asked the initial roofing contractor. The ideal situation is to have a team of contractors all wearing the same uniform and working under one company name this gives you the best chance of having a consistent application throughout the lifetime of the job.

What post-job care can you offer me?

Any quality roofing contractor will be confident enough in their skills to offer a comprehensive warranty on their roof replacement work. An excellent contractor will provide you with post-care service including post-completion check-ups and an offer to provide any minor repairs that were missed.

Do you have a folio?

Your contractor should have a sizeable portfolio demonstrating the quality roof replacement projects they have completed in the past. It’s even better if they can pass on a sample of what past clients have said about their work.

What’s your ABN?

If the company doesn’t have an ABN it means they aren’t a registered company, so steer clear of them. Unregistered roof replacement companies can disappear whenever they want and good luck finding them.

What products and suppliers do you use?

Your roofing contractor should have a list of quality suppliers that they have good relationships with. These relationships will allow your contractor to purchase the best products for your roofing projects at reduced prices and pass these savings on to you.

With the colder months approaching, it makes more sense than ever to make the necessary adjustments to your sustainable home. The most important part of any home’s construction is the roof. The roof of your house must be equipped to perform under a wide range of temperatures, preventing any weather-based issues that may arise. Not only can it provide you peace of mind, but winter proofing can also save you a bundle on heating bills. A good solid roof keeps the cold out, making your home more pleasant to live in through the colder months.

Many people will attempt to winter-proof their home this winter, however, the most important thing to remember is to develop a clear plan of action.

Conduct a thorough roof inspection

When was the last time you checked the state of your roof? The state of your roof can determine whether your home stands up to the colder weather. Damaged roof tiles, shingles, guttering and pipes can give winds a route to your home. With this in mind, it is crucial you check these areas to ensure they are free from debris and water. If there are openings in the exterior, or there is a structural problem in the roof cavity, it is paramount to ensure these are repaired as soon as possible. Conducting a thorough roof check is a crucial step when letting your home defend from the elements. You can also hire a roofing contractor or Melbourne roof replacement company to carry out a roof inspection for you.

Trim the overhang

During summer, plants and greenery are very welcome. During the colder months however, they can become a bit of a hazard. Rain, or even snow can add extra weight to the overhang of your trees and bushes. The unwanted snapping of any branches or trees may result in roof damage. It is best to just avoid this possibility altogether, trimming the unnecessary foliage on surrounding greenery.

Insulate your home

While majority of new homes come with built in insulation, the majority of existing properties must do this themselves. When heat escapes from your attic/loft, it melts the snow and ice. This results in a build up in your gutters, placing great stress on them. It can even cause a water build up that can leak into your home. Insulating your loft is key to ensuring as little heat escapes from your home as possible. It can also have great financial and environmental benefits. Although each insulation pattern is different, depending on the shape of your roof, loft insulation can help homeowners reduce their energy bills by 25% each year. It has also gone some way to reduce carbon emissions. By properly insulating the underside of your roof, it will ensure you keep the heat in and the unwanted cold out.

Clean your gutters

Clogged drains and gutters can do as much damage to your home as a leaking roof can. Gutters collect rain runoff and carry it away from the home- however this system can break down. When it rains, instead of carrying all that water away from the house, a clogged gutter will simply hold onto it right up against the edge of the roof. When this build up occurs, the water can go under the shingles, pressing moisture into the roof. This can lead up to a build up of mould and mildew, weakening your homes foundation and walls. To avoid long-term structural damage, it is important to clean your gutters out a couple of times a year.

Consult a professional

While simple inspections, repairs and maintenance are easy enough to complete on your own, sometimes an expert can provide valuable insight. If you have any reason to be especially worried about the state of your roof, or if you would rather be safe than sorry, you should call a roofing specialist to conduct a thorough check and carry out all repairs. Having your roof repair done properly can save you money come winter, while even preventing a roof replacement if a disaster occurs.

Winter-proofing your roof is not only environmentally conscious, but it can also save you a lot of money during the colder months. If you need more information on preparing your roof during this winter, contact our friendly team at ACR Roofing. We are the most experienced Melbourne roof replacement company, priding ourselves on the peace of mind we provide our customers. A roof is every building’s first line of defense from the elements, so we are committed to ensuring that every roof is protected this winter.

Many homeowners assume they only need a roof replacement when it begins to leak. But don’t make this mistake. Some roofs reach the end of their life without any signs of roof failure. Even if you can’t see damages to your roof, hidden issues could affect its functionality. For example, your roof could have holes that allow rainwater to leak into the walls. If you wait until you see damages to replace your roof, your home may have already experienced extensive damages to its structure. You can prevent these structural damages by watching for these signs that it’s time to replace your roof, then call a Melbourne roof replacement company to make it happen.

Aging

When was the last time you had a roof replacement? Different roofing materials have different lifespans, so talk to a roof specialist about whether your roof is due for replacement.

The need for roof replacement also depends on how much your roof weighs and how well your roof ventilates air. For example, if your roof uses a heavy material (like tiles) and your roof is approaching the end of its lifespan, you will likely need to replace it soon.

Loose Panels

If the panels on your roof loosen, you could experience leaks. High winds and strong storms are common causes for metal roofing becoming looser.

If you don’t repair the loose panels, they will allow water to enter your home and cause damage. Loose panels can also compromise the safety of your home. Determined thieves could enter through loose or missing panels. Small rodents and insects could also enter your home and create nests in your roof or attic.

When your roof has loose panels, consider roof replacement.

Hail Damage

Hail can cause damage to most roofing materials. Roof materials that experience heavy hailstorms often lose their ability to protect your home from water damage. Many of these materials are prone to splitting and cracking after they experience repeated hammering from hail.

After a hailstorm, look for cracks in your roof and leaks in your ceiling. If you see either of these damages, replace your roof.

Discolouration

In terms of functionality, discolouration on your roof isn’t a problem. However, having more than one colour on a roof doesn’t look appealing.

Over time, your roof may experience sun damage that fades its once vibrant colours. To maintain a uniform colour, you should consider repainting or replacing the roof. Ask your roofing specialists in Melbourne about metal roofing materials that retain their colour.

Growing Moss

Some roofing materials allow moss to grow on top of your home. If shade frequently covers the roof and the area experiences lots of wet weather, you may see mould growing on your roof.

Mould and moss hold moisture on your roof, which will eventually damage the roofing material, so replacement is your best option. Many homeowners also choose to replace their roof after they see mould because moss and mould growth are unattractive.

Avoid trying to clean the mould off of your roof by yourself, as you could fall and get hurt. Even if you did clean the area yourself, the moss would probably regrow anyway. You will likely need a roof replacement to remove the moss completely. Ask your roof specialist about moss-resistant roofing materials.

Rust Damage

If you find rust on your metal roof, it’s probably time to replace it. Rust often means that the metal coating on your roof has deteriorated and the metal is starting to tarnish. Once your roof’s coating or finish deteriorates, water will cause your metal roof to rust.

Many homeowners don’t notice rust until they discover evidence of roof leaks inside their home. You can regularly search your roof for rust damage to prevent such leaks. Most rust damage occurs near vents, flashing, seams and skylights. If you notice rust, consider calling some roofing contractors to conduct a roof replacement.

There are many benefits to replacing your roof, such as increasing your home value and creating a safe place for your family. When you decide it’s time to replace your roof, call a professional roof specialist to guide you through the roof replacement process.

If it’s time for a roof replacement, consider installing a Colorbond roof. Colorbond is a galvanised steel roofing material that provides homeowners many advantages compared with tile roofing options. Colorbond roofing has been a popular choice among homeowners for many years. Here are some of the advantages you get when you choose a Colorbond roof.

Colorbond Roofing is Durable

One of the most appealing aspects of metal roofing is its durability. Roofing professionals install strong metal sheets that provide optimum protection in various types of weather, including heavy winds and powerful rainstorms.

The metal material is also corrosive and crack resistant, which means you only need to inspect your roof for damages periodically. Most Colorbond roofs have a zincalume base that prevents your roof from peeling, chipping or cracking like traditional roofs do.

The steel roofing plates are also fireproof, termite-proof and rust-proof. A metal roof’s durability means it lasts longer than other traditional roofing materials.

Colorbond Roofing is Energy Efficient

Metal roofs are energy efficient, which will help you save money on heating and cooling costs. The metal material reflects away heat from the sun, resulting in lower cooling expenses. This material also acts as an insulator for your home to keep warm air inside during cooler months.

Colorbond Roofing is Attractive and Functional

When you decide to go for a Colorbond roof installation, you can choose from a wide selection of colours. The colour options allow you to easily create a cohesive exterior design. With Colorbond roofing, you can select a roof colour that complements your home’s existing colour palate.

Colorbond roofing also helps the exterior of your home look clean and modern. You can even paint a unique design or sign on your roof if you want.

Metal roofing also gives you various roof structure options. For example, you can choose to have peaks on your roof in certain areas or have a completely flat roof. With Colorbond’s colour options and structural flexibility, you can create a roof design that fits your home’s aesthetic and functional needs.

Colorbond Roofing is Environmentally Friendly

You may assume that living green means paying more when you update or build a house. However, Colorbond roofs are affordable and have minimum impact on the environment. Because Colorbond roofs are made from steel, they are 100 percent recyclable, which makes them an ideal choice for environment-conscious homeowners.

Colorbond Roofing is Lightweight

Another advantage of Colorbond roofing is its weight. Colorbond steel has a lighter weight than many other roofing materials, which reduces the need for heavy structural roofing supports. Because of their heavy weight, some tile roofs require replacement supports after several years. You avoid that expense with metal roofing options.

Additionally, you may have the option to place a metal roof on top of an existing tile roof because the metal doesn’t weigh very much.

Colorbond Roofing is Low Maintenance

Metal roofs also don’t require nearly as much maintenance as traditional tile roofs. For instance, homeowners don’t have to worry about cleaning mould off of their metal roof.

Some homeowners also worry that if they paint their metal roof once, they will have to paint it again in a few years. On Colorbond roofs, the paint is bonded to the metal, which means homeowners don’t have to repaint their roof nearly as often as they would with other metal roofing materials. With Colorbond roofing, you can enjoy the durability of your roof without many extra efforts on your part.

Colorbond roofs are a great choice if you want a long-lasting roof that will look like new for years to come. When you’re ready to install your new roof, call a Melbourne roof replacement company to help you get started on the roof replacement process.

Between the end of World War II and about 1990, many builders used asbestos when they constructed or renovated homes and commercial buildings. Asbestos consists of mineral fibres that are extremely resistant to damage from chemicals, fire and heat. These qualities made asbestos a seemingly ideal building material.

Eventually, manufacturers discovered that asbestos releases harmful fibres into the air when disturbed. Airborne asbestos is tied to a number of health problems because when people breathe in these fibres, they can cause lung damage. For this reason, it is now illegal to use asbestos as a building material anywhere in Australia.

However, because asbestos was such a common building material a few decades ago, many buildings still have asbestos in their structure today. Until the asbestos is disturbed, the minerals will lay dormant, but dormant asbestos is still dangerous – it could be disturbed at any time.

To prevent people in your home or business from being exposed to these dangerous fibres, you should educate yourself about this material and the health risks it poses, and consider asbestos removal in Melbourne.

What Are Health Risks Associated With Asbestos?

When people breathe in asbestos, the mineral fibres lodge in their lungs and remain there for years. Eventually, these fibres can cause various lung problems.

Some of the lung damages that asbestos exposure could cause includes the following:

Mesothelioma. This rare cancer affects the lungs, abdomen and chest cavity. This cancer develops along the lining of the lungs and is usually fatal. Most cases of mesothelioma cancer result from exposure to asbestos. The symptoms include shortness of breath, abdomen pain, blood clotting abnormalities and anaemia.

Asbestosis. This condition is an inflammation in the lungs. People who have this condition often exhibit symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, loss of appetite and chest tightness. Over time, this disease will lead to lung scars that make breathing difficult. Asbestosis is a debilitating disease that greatly impacts a victim’s quality of life.

Benign pleural effusions: This illness occurs when fluid collects between the chest wall and the lungs. The collected fluid limits how far a person’s lungs can expand, resulting in breathlessness.

Lung cancer: Common symptoms of lung cancer include difficulty breathing, chest pains, coughing and anaemia. People who are exposed to both asbestos and cigarette smoke are at a greater risk of developing lung cancer.

Asbestos fibres come in many forms, and the different types may come with different health risk. For instance, some studies suggest long, durable amphibole asbestos fibres tend to cause mesothelioma because they remain in the lungs for years. Unfortunately, people rarely know for sure they have inhaled asbestos (or what type they inhaled) until a doctor diagnoses them with an illness.

Some studies also suggest asbestos is related to a number of other cancers, including kidney, voice box, throat and gallbladder cancers. Further research is needed to confirm asbestos causes these cancers.

Who Is At Risk For Asbestos-Related Illnesses?

Anyone who is exposed to asbestos in their home or work building could potentially experience asbestos-related health conditions. However, a person’s chances of developing an illness depend on several factors, including:

The length of time a person is exposed to asbestos

The amount of asbestos a person is exposed to

The form of asbestos a person is exposed to, including its chemical makeup and the size and shape of the fibres

The presence of additional lung diseases

Asbestos exposure can take between 15 to 60 years to cause harm. If you are exposed to asbestos, you may not know about the exposure for a long time. Visit a doctor if you experience lung problems, and let him or her know you may have been exposed to asbestos in the past.

Finally, if you suspect your commercial or residential building has asbestos, contact us for asbestos removal Melbourne.

There’s nothing better than the sight of a fresh sheet of Colorbond on top of a house or around the perimeter of the house. Whether you’ve gone for the moody Ironstone, the earthy Terrain, the restrained Surfmist or the classics – Manor Red or Deep Ocean you’ll be looking at your creation and knowing it’s the best decision you’ve ever made. The benefits of Colorbond go far beyond the aesthetics. It’s legendary for its toughness and durability and for its ability to maintain its original colour for decades. Colorbond doesn’t need much help to keep looking great but there are still a few things you can do to ensure you get the absolute best out of that coil of Aussie genius.

A roof is every building’s first line of defence from the elements and natural hazards such as wind, hail, snow, rain, ice, and extreme heat. The fact that it protects the occupants and property in a building makes it the most vulnerable and will remain as the number one asset.

If you’ve been kind to your Colorbond during storage and installation, you’ll be pleased to know that for the most part the maintenance tasks end here. Colorbond roofing that is exposed to rain throughout the year won’t need any maintenance at all. The rain will wash all the dirt away and keep it looking good as new.

Parts that are protected from the rain will need a bit of TLC every now and then. Areas such as wall cladding, fascias and garage doors that don’t receive any rain can build up condensation, which can lead to erosion. This risk is intensified if you live close to the sea as the build up of salt can slowly chip away at the appearance of your Colorbond roof.

In light of this, Bluescope recommends that owners wash their segments of Colorbond that are hidden form the rain every six months whilst Colorbond that is subject to sea spray should be washed every six months.

The best way to do this is to build up a routine, so every time you water the garden you should give your Colorbond fence a wash and every time you wash the car make sure you aim the hose at the garage door for a quick spray down. For heavy dirt build up Bluescope recommends the use of a pure soap solution or non-abrasive detergent mixed with water. It’s important that only sponges or soft cloths are used to wipe the dirt away, using abrasive steel brushes or steel wool can cause irreparable damage to the surface of the Colorbond. The same goes for your choice of solution; you should never use turps or kerosene to wash your Colorbond. After cleaning you need to thoroughly rinse the Colorbond ensuring no soap or detergent is left on the surface.

Follow these simple guidelines and your Colorbond roof or fence will stay as good as new for years to come. When you compare a quick hose down or a scrub every 3-6 months to the hassle of getting a roofing contactor around to replace cracked tiles it’s easy to see why so many people are going Colorbond.
