The Melbourne Roof Replacement Project
Our Melbourne roofers found this roof to have a number of areas of unsuccessful repairs and patch up works, especially around the box gutters. Morely Commercial wanted a roof replacement that they could feel satisfied with the knowledge that this will stand the test of time. First and foremost, we provided our scope of works whilst ensuring safety was a top priority. We installed safety rail to the perimeter of the building and coordinated the crane up of all materials.
Whilst working on this asbestos roof removal and commercial roof replacement in Melbourne, we cordoned off the area directly below. This allowed the majority of the working space below to go about their daily operations. Our team onsite each day liaised and coordinated this with the Academy of Dance management, ensuring a smooth operation for all involved.
Our team of roofing contractors in Melbourne began works in each area by removing all existing metal materials. We made sure to install all new safety mesh, as well as 60mm roof insulation blanket to some areas. Next, we install the new metal roof sheeting, in Zincalume and a heavier grade material. The heavier grade allows foot traffic on the roof, without causing significant damage to the new roof.
We installed all relevant flashings and box guttering. Once the Melbourne roof replacement was complete, we crane down all materials and conduct a final inspection.
