ACR Roofing’s estimators were called out to inspect the metal roof on a block of units located in West Footscray.
Our Melbourne roofers found the roof structure was not compliant with today’s standards and the insufficient falls were causing water pooling on the roof, eventually leading to corrosion eating through the metal roof and thus causing leaks.
The roof was way beyond repair and therefore a full metal roof replacement was the only option.
ACR Roofing’s roof plumbers were also required to re-grade the entire roof; each day an area of old roof was removed, additional timber battens were installed to ensure the new roof installed was compliant. BlueScope Plain Zincalume Speed Deck Ultra roof sheets were installed over the structure and the Melbourne roof replacement was completed with no disruption to the tenants in the units below.
