It was a busy month for ACR, with the removal and replacement of more than 3,000m2 of asbestos roof at the Kennards Self Storage facility in Flemington. This particular asbestos removal and replacement required careful planning and attention, with the safety and security of the items in storage below of the utmost importance. As always, we treated the removal of the asbestos carefully, ensuring that we followed all the requirements of both the Victorian WorkCover Authority and the Environmental Protection Authority. After removing the asbestos roof, our crew thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned the entire site, guaranteeing that there was absolutely no asbestos left behind. We then installed a brand new Zincalume roof, increasing the value of the property and ensuring the safety and security of all the goods in storage for years to come.
