The Project: A popular venue in the Mt Eliza shopping village, the TAB was in urgent need of a roof replacement in Melbourne to ensure their patrons were not affected by the worsening leaks. The issues caused by the tired and sagging roof installation were exacerbated by the regular foot traffic from other trades completing maintenance duties on the roof.
To rectify these issues, ACR’s commercial roofers installed additional timber to the structure to increase the roof pitch, as well as installing a heavier gauge -0.48 BlueScope Plain Zincalume – sheet material to withstand the regular foot traffic. At the request of the owner, we engaged a Height Safety specialist to install aluminium walkways along the new roof to allow tradesman to traverse back and forth, eliminating the possibility of any future roof dents.
The Result: TAB Corporation and the owner were extremely satisfied with the communication and professional roof replacement that allowed them to remain fully operational throughout the process, and most importantly, provide them with a watertight building for many years to come.
